Guidelines for Authors
The International Journal for Research in Medicine and Health Sciences (IJRMHS) welcomes original, high-quality scholarly manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of knowledge and practice in medicine, public health, and healthcare. Authors are encouraged to submit research that demonstrates originality, methodological rigor, academic relevance, and a clear contribution to the journal's scope.
Authors should carefully review the following guidelines before submitting a manuscript to ensure that submissions meet the journal's requirements and can be considered for editorial assessment.
Scope of the Journal
IJRMHS publishes scholarly research in medicine, public health, and healthcare, including studies addressing health and disease, disease prevention, clinical practice, healthcare delivery, public health interventions, and related areas of health sciences.
The journal welcomes original research and scholarly reviews that contribute to scientific understanding, evidence-based practice, and the development of healthcare knowledge. Submissions must be relevant to the journal's stated aims and scope and demonstrate appropriate research design, sound methodology, and clear reporting of findings.
Types of Manuscripts Accepted
IJRMHS accepts the following manuscript types:
- Original Research Articles
- Review Articles
- Short Communications

All submissions must be original, scientifically sound, clearly presented, and relevant to the journal's scope. Authors should ensure that their manuscript type is appropriate for the content and purpose of the submission.
Manuscript Submission
All manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the journal's official online submission system.
By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that:
- The manuscript represents original work and has not been published previously, except where prior dissemination has been disclosed and is permitted by journal policy.
- The manuscript is not under consideration for publication by another journal.
- All listed authors have made appropriate contributions to the work and have approved the submitted version.
- The submission accurately represents the research conducted and its findings.
- Relevant funding sources and potential conflicts of interest have been disclosed.
- Necessary ethical approvals, informed consent, and permissions have been obtained where applicable.
- All sources, datasets, and third-party materials have been appropriately acknowledged.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that the submitted manuscript complies with the journal's publication ethics and research integrity requirements.
Manuscript Structure
Authors should prepare their manuscripts using a structure appropriate to the article type and research methodology.
For original research articles, the following structure is generally recommended:

Research Ethics and Publication Standards
IJRMHS expects authors to uphold appropriate standards of research integrity and responsible scholarly communication.
Authors must:
- Cite and acknowledge all sources appropriately.
- Avoid plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabricated data, falsification, and other forms of research misconduct.
- Disclose financial and non-financial conflicts of interest.
- Report methods and findings accurately and transparently.
- Obtain relevant institutional ethics approval and informed consent where required.
- Protect the privacy and confidentiality of research participants.
- Obtain permission for copyrighted or otherwise restricted third-party materials where necessary.
- Follow applicable reporting standards relevant to the study design.
Research involving human participants, identifiable personal data, or animals must include the relevant ethical approval and consent information, where applicable. Authors should provide sufficient details to enable appropriate assessment of the ethical conduct of the research.
Authorship and Acknowledgements
Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made meaningful scholarly contributions to the research and manuscript. All authors must approve the final submitted version and accept responsibility for their contributions.
Individuals who contributed to the work but do not meet the criteria for authorship may be acknowledged with their permission. Changes to authorship after submission must be justified and handled in accordance with the journal's applicable editorial procedures.
Originality and Similarity Screening
All submissions may be screened for textual similarity and other indicators of potential publication misconduct. Authors should ensure that the manuscript is original, that quotations are properly identified, and that previously published material is appropriately cited.
Similarity screening supports editorial assessment but does not, by itself, determine whether a manuscript contains plagiarism. The context of matching text, attribution, and the nature of the material are considered in accordance with the journal's applicable policies.
Peer Review and Editorial Decisions
IJRMHS follows a double-blind peer-review model. Manuscripts undergo an initial editorial assessment for relevance, completeness, and suitability for the journal. Submissions considered suitable may proceed to independent peer review.
Editorial decisions take into account the manuscript's originality, scientific quality, methodological soundness, clarity, relevance, and the assessments received during review. Submission does not guarantee acceptance or publication.
Authors should ensure that the manuscript file and supplementary materials comply with the journal's instructions for maintaining reviewer anonymity.
By submitting a manuscript to IJRMHS, authors acknowledge that their work will be considered in accordance with the journal's editorial procedures, peer-review process, and applicable publication policies.
